Welcome to Cruise on the Web Saturday, September 01, 2012
By Brenton White, Cruising Enthusiast
Hello and welcome to Cruise on the Web, a community for all who love to cruise and like to see the ports and exciting places to visit in stunning detail. Cruise on the Web is the realization of a dream to share the visual pleasures of panoramas with the joy of cruising.
As the Cruise on the Web community grows, you can look forward to viewing panoramas from around the World, and you might even learn how to take them yourself and share them with your friends, family, and this new community.
So, take some time to look around the site, absorb the stunning sights, chuckle at some ot the trip photos, engange others in our forums where we've asked some questions about cruising, and check out our upcoming cruises and join us on one or both of them.
Don't pass up on the opportunity to learn how to take, make, and print YOUR--yes I said YOUR--panoramas. I want you to record and share your memories rather than buy some stock photograph. To help you out, Cruise on the Web has an entire section devoted to panoramas, from viewing them to showing you how to take them. And while you might find the thought of taking them daunting, I want to assure you that it is really quite easy, fun, and the photos you take will be memories for a lifetime.
You don't need to be an expert; you just need to be willing. In the future, I'll be writing about various panorama themes, ones we've taken, ones we want to take, and all about the ins and outs of panoramas. I'm stuck on them and can't spend more than a day away from creating or printing one. Of course, I'd like to hear from you and help you experience the joy that panoramas can bring.
Email me, call me, or use our forums to let me now how we can make Cruise on the Web a vital community that serves you, your friends, and your family. We are adding new panoramas every day, so visit often. If you like what you see, please tell your friends. If you don't, tell me!
Until we meet on board,
